Dendera is a metalworking company specializing in precision sheet-metal production for industrial clients. As the business expanded, the company required a tailored digital solution to support its warehouse operations, production workflows, and day-to-day shop-floor activities.
To address these needs, Dendera initiated the development of a custom ERP system enhanced by a specialized warehouse module and terminal application — all optimized for the unique requirements of sheet-metal manufacturing.
Challenge
Operating in a high-precision production environment demands accurate tracking of materials, efficient warehouse movements, and fast communication between operators and management. Existing tools lacked the necessary flexibility and were not optimized for shop-floor conditions, where workers use gloves, industrial terminals, and barcode scanners.
Dendera needed an intuitive system with simplified controls, role-based interfaces, and reliable barcode-driven workflows capable of supporting continuous operations and minimizing manual errors.
Our Approach
ITIXO developed a custom ERP solution complemented by a dedicated warehouse management system and terminal application. The terminal interface was designed specifically for industrial use — featuring large interactive elements, glove-friendly controls, and specialized barcode formats for fast navigation and data entry.
The visual layout was fully tailored to customer preferences and adapted to user roles, ensuring clarity and simplicity for operators while providing managers with advanced oversight and reporting capabilities. Centralized authentication and role management were integrated via Active Directory to maintain security and consistency across the company infrastructure.
Result
The new system streamlined production workflows, reduced administrative overhead, and improved accuracy in material and inventory tracking. Operators can now perform tasks quickly using barcode scanners, while the intuitive UI significantly shortens onboarding time and minimizes user errors.
